Colored stainless steel wall tile systems
Millennium Forms thrives under the watchful eye of Walter Hauk – a small company with the big imagination and can-do attitude of the man himself. Their manufacturing facility and sales office are centrally located in Elkhorn, WI, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee.
Light Interference Color (LIC) is achieved using an electrochemical process to color stainless steel without the use of dyes or pigments. The process uses various acids and electricity in order to grow a chrome oxide (chromate) layer on the stainless steel. The thickness of the chromate acts like a prism creating the changing color that we see on the surface of the metal. The perceived color-changing is caused by the natural physics of light interference; from different angles, the light waves are perceived by a viewer as revealing a different color from each angle. A range of colors are available, as well as finishes, all giving stainless steel a brilliant, unique look.
The beauty and magic of ZALMAG® is that every application is different. Depending on the temperature, humidity, and alkalinity of your location, the patina process can start at different rates (days to years) adding visual interest and character at every step of the journey. ZALMAG® makes any architectural application a living transformation project. ZALMAG® surfaces (Natural, Pre-Patina II, and Black) will age in a random order to grey tones. ZALMAG® reacts to the environment, handling, installation, and equipment pressure. Due to the nature of ZALMAG®, it will self-heal cuts and perforations and it will naturally patina based on handling and the surrounding environment
STAMPED TILES
Millennium Form’s interlocking Stamped Tile Systems are formed using progressive tooling which provides a uniform and cost effective solution. This system installs directly over plywood or elevated channels using concealed fasteners. Available in: 304/316 Stainless Steel, ZALMAG®, Anodized Aluminum
Cupped Tiles. Millennium Cupped Tiles were first introduced in the 1950s as an aluminum followed by copper roofing system. The cup design allows installers to walk on the tiles during installation. The tiles have evolved from roof to wall applications.
MILLENNIUM FLAT TILE
Millennium Flat Tiles were introduced as an alternative to conventional wall systems. The flat tile has the flexibility to accommodate both modern and traditional designs.
MILLENNIUM DIAMOND TILE
Millennium Diamond Tiles can be installed on an angle to achieve a diamond or clapboard pattern. The diamond tile will create the emphasis your design deserves.
MILLENNIUM TS TILE
A ZGF Design – The Millennium TS Tile was created by modifying existing tooling to achieve the desired result of a vertically oriented panel specifically for the Federal Center South in Seattle, Army Corps of Engineers.
LAY-FLAT PANEL
Unlike traditional flat-lock panels, reveal joints in the system create a relief in the panel for a true flat installation. Options in both reveal and panel dimensions exhibit distinction (or definition) within the system. Two different offset options available
SINGLE OFFSET
A vertical offset on the right side of each panel allows the vertical joints to lay-flat with one another. A hair-line or shadow reveal is achieved in the vertical joint conditions.
DOUBLE OFFSET
The Double offset gives each panel a reveal on all four sides of the lay-flat panel. All of the panels will lay flush with one another, unlike a traditional overlapping flat lock panel.
FLAT LOCK PANEL
Flat Lock Panels are a wall cladding solution for a wide range of applications. Overlapping metal panels that utilize clips for installation. These panels are available in various sizes and gauges.
Available in: 304/316 Stainless Steel, ZALMAG®, TiNi Stainless Steel
FLUSH REVEAL PANEL
The profile of the flush reveal panels offers a linear emphasis. Choice of reveal and face dimensions can be easily adjusted to your needs. Formed out of 4′ x 10′ sheets, these panels can be produced up to 10′ in length. Available in two profiles (cassette end, butt joints)
